The glow plugs in the 2 valve diesels are connected via special ring cable lugs which have an integrated rotatable nut. After > 25 years, the nut often detaches from the cable lug, which makes it extremely difficult to change the glow plug. Without a hold, the nut has no lead and it is difficulty to attach the cable to the glow plug.
We offer this special glow plug connection completely, i.e. remove the old connection from the supply line, crimp/press on the new connection.
Note: the 4V diesel engines have a completely different design: their very long glow plugs are plugged in, not screwed. Therefore the w124-gka-2v only fits on the 2V-diesels.
