With traction control (ASD), the control is via a control unit connected to the differential by a flexible connecting coupler. The steel line components are usually heavily rusted, as a rule the coupler screw connection on the differential cannot be loosened without the pipe breaking.
An original part from DB is currently available at a price > 100 Euro/piece, but still in the combination of steel pipes with a grouted rubber hose piece.
We have this flexible pipe made of rustproof cunifer material and high-quality hydraulic hose. Apart from the very favourable price, this puts an end to rusting.
There are two lengths:
- either short, ca. 80 cm total length according to OE number 1243501380, mostly installed in diesel vehicles
- or long, ca. 110 cm total length according to OE number 1243501880 or ...2380 , mostly installed in gasoline vehicles.
The classification is clear if you measure the total length of this line on the vehicle floor with a tape rule. If this is not possible, you can also send us the chassis number - we will then check the classification.
