Rubber grommet for vacuum hose to brake booster
The rigid vacuum hose from the brake booster to the vacuum pump is fixed by a rubber grommet to a metal holder of the fuel filter. Not only does the hose become unsightly and brittle over the years, but the rubber grommet is worn out due to the frequent movement during fuel filter installation and removal.
The rubber should be replaced so that the vacuum hose does not abrade itself against the holder.
Tip: to replace the rubber, the vacuum hose must be removed from at least one connection on one side. Since the hose is completely hardened after 30 years, it is advisable to replace the hose s-pa-bkv in this context.
