If the tickers from the valve train gets louder and louder, this indicates worn hydro lifters. After removing the camshaft, the hydro tappets can removed and replaced easily .
Since hydro tappets per se can not be verified, we recommend the replacement of all hydro tappets to ensure a neat valve train and correct valve clearance.
