Sealing of side cover plate, for 6 cylinder row injection pumps, original quality, type 076.
6 cylinder row injection pumps come with different side cover plates. Therefore, there are different sealings for the side cover plates. A cross reference of the sealings to the respective injection pumps can be found in our "Technical Info".
The BOSCH number of the injection pump is provided on the identification plate at the side of the pump (s. pictures).
As those injection pumps are lubricated by engine oil, sealings of the side and bottom plate are mostly worn out after > 30 years of contact with hot engine oil.
Recommendation: if the pump has been disassembled we recommend to change all relevant sealings, in order to avoid further leakage. If you need a full set of sealings for your pump, please let us know the car details as well as the BOSCH number of your injection pump.
