A usual option in the W124 and W140 was the outside temperature display (ATA). This shows in a small illuminated display in the instrument cluster the outside temperature, which is registered by a sensor behind the front number plate. The sensor is often defective due to age and incorrect temperature values are displayed. The original sensor can only be replaced as a complete set of cables that runs into the fuse box. With a little skill the measuring cable can be pulled out of the holder of the sensor and a new sensor can be soldered on. At Monopoel you get the sensor, not the complete wiring harness.
